Before sunrise, the Red Team gathered across the different start lines — marathoners in Heidelberg, half marathoners at Zoutpan, and our 10.4 km and 5 km runners ready to join later. Different distances, same energy, and one united CAPE MULTISPORT CLUB EDEN team.When the gun went off, the Vlakte opened up wide and welcoming… long, flat stretches glowing in the early morning light….Even without a full team photo, the Red Team was impossible to miss on the route — proudly represented and easily spotted in our colours. You didn’t need a group picture to know CMCE showed up!The photos say it all — big smiles, thumbs-ups, arms raised in victory, and a whole lot of fun across every distance.
A beautiful day. A beautiful route…..one by one, the Red Team runners crossed the finish line with pride, laughter, and that warm feeling of “we did this together.”Well done to everyone who took part!
Congratulations! Everyone did very well, even the Marx youngsters showed their grit. 
And a big shout out to Jan Meyer and John Maritz who both did exceptionally well!
