Comrades 2019

Big special!!!Only R1000 for 5 x30min sessions

It was with great excitement that 5 warriors of the Red Army lined up on Sunday 9 June in Durban.

Three of them already knew what awaited them during the course of the day and for the two first timers a little bit of fear for the unknown but for all of them expectations to deliver what they set out to do. Months of hard work and early mornings, broken bodies and sore muscles all came together on that morning.

Our brave runners were Cliff Wallace, 1st overall of Cape Multisport, Gerhardt Roux, Andrew Thorpe Sonja Steyn and Tertius Steyn. The Steyn’s ran their first Comrades and we are sure they will return next year for the back to back medal on the down run.

The route, as always, did not make it easy for the runners. Cliff ran a fantastic race and came from behind to take first spot, well done Cliff, shows you experience counts!
